Purchase, A Consumer Math Game
"Can I afford it?" players ask as they weigh price against cash on hand. Planning ahead enhances the chance of being the first to make the six purchases required to win. Players learn to keep accurate financial records of income, expenses, and balances; reconcile cash on hand with the record; and make strategic decisions based on probability. The emphasis is on wise decision-making and accurate money management. For 2-4 players.
